New WordPress users are often confused by the combination of PHP, HTML, and CSS, that you find in your WordPress template. After awhile you will start to learn the code and understand what’s going on. Sarah at Blogging Tips wrote a couple of great tutorials on creating your own templates.

    Another great way to learn how to build templates is to use premade blanks. They have the whole set up down, you basically write the css. It’s a good way to fiddle with things and learn how to set everything up.

    I became so confused with my WordPress blog that I abandoned it for a time. I know it has more functionality than a Blogger blog. But it’s definitely not as user-friendly.
