Life as a ZERO

You might be a ZERO if:

– Your stepchildren acknowledge everyone in the room, but you.
– You greet your stepchildren, and they ignore you.
– You ask your stepchildren to do something, and they just walk away.
– Your stepchildren are unable to distinguish you from a telemarketer when you call them on the phone.

I have heard many people say that being a parent is hard work. I would argue that being a stepparent is even harder work. As a stepparent, I struggled through several years of feeling inadequate and ineffective. During that time, I learned many valuable lessons and developed some personal strategies to maintain my sanity. In Life as a ZERO, I share these lessons to help you survive stepparenthood.
