Mystical Moods of Ireland: Enchanted Celtic Skies (Moods of Our World)

Mystical Moods of Ireland: Enchanted Celtic Skies is a series of photographic essays exploring the ever-changing skyscapes of Ireland, from sunrise to sunset. The book features 122 spectacular color pictures capturing the drama and moods of the legendary Irish weather, as it paints brilliant displays in the skies over County Clare, County Kerry and other scenic locations in Ireland.

Many of the images were taken on the same day, and some only minutes apart, demonstrating the validity of local Irish weather wisdom that warns visitors to be prepared to experience all four seasons in a day.

Author/Photographer James Truett is a “reverse immigrant” to Ireland, returning to his roots more than 100 years after his grandmother and great grandfather both set out for the distant shores of the U.S. in the 1800s.

Chapters include:

  • Chapter 1: Sunrises – Setting the Day’s Mood
  • Chapter 2: Irish Mist – Morning Mystery
  • Chapter 3: Dark Clouds – Harbingers of Storm
  • Chapter 4: Air Traffic – Con Trails or Chem Trails?
