The Accidental Journey: Living on the Edge

An engaging look into the life of an aging baby boomer who turns from a traditional corporate lifestyle to one of becoming a philanthropic adventurer.

Mark Jennings-Bates is a global adventurer who is a two time winner of the Western Canada Open Class rally championship. He recently led a team on a Guinness World Record trip in paramotors around Australia.

In this book, Mark Jennings-Bates, a Canadian based global adventurer, shares his story and talks about whether life is truly accidental or are we in control.

The book explores how we, ultimately, are in control of our own destiny. We will read stories from Mark’s personal experiences of what it is like to change from a life of security with a focus on personal ambition to one of insecurity while working to change the lives of those less fortunate.

Discussions on the challenging world we find ourselves in are interspersed with a glimpse into the life of a global adventurer and philanthropist as he struggles, together with his wife to help people in poverty.

An engaging book with a message of inspiration that lets us understand we are in control of our own destiny.
