INVINCIBLE (Impassioned Book 2)

HEATHER BARRETT divorces her abusive, philandering husband, quits her good job as an Assistant General Manager of a large hotel in Minneapolis, MN and sells her house to begin a new life as the General Manager of a boutique hotel in the heart of Charleston, SC.

Eight years earlier she graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Hotel Management. Her sophomore year she met and fell in love with DREW MASON. They planned to marry and take the hospitality industry by storm when they had their degree and launched their careers.

Drew graduated a few months before she and left school for home. They declared their undying love for each other. She never heard a word from him again. Devastated, she rebound three months later into a loveless marriage that robbed her of ever trusting a man again.

Heather loves her apartment, the warmer weather, and her job at The Spanish Gates Inn and for three weeks is happier than she thought possible, until the owner and president of the chain of Inns returns from an extended trip. Drew Mason enters her life as her superior with no explanation of his disappearance so many years ago.

Will he explain his absence to her satisfaction? Can she deny herself the only man she’s ever loved when his pursuit is relentless? Will she ever trust again?
