Lifelights

Other than having supernatural beings fluttering around her house, Mara Austin’s life is relatively predictable. Until the day of her 22nd birthday when tall, dark, and disturbingly sexy, Sebastian Oran, strolls into The Tea Cosy where she works. Sebastian’s relentless pursuit of her is as confusing as it is flattering. Why would a successful American businessman be attracted to an ordinary waitress? And for a man she has only just met, he seems to know an awful lot about her.

Is it Mara’s heart that Sebastian is so determined to claim, or is she simply a means to an end? Mara doesn’t know where the Lifelights came from or why they have remained with her, but the colourful dancing spheres of light are the nearest thing to a family that she has and she will guard the secret of their existence at all costs, even if it means losing the man she has fallen hopelessly in love with.Other than having supernatural beings fluttering around her house, Mara Austin’s life is relatively predictable.
