The list of suspects includes, a charismatic white supremacist, a gubernatorial candidate with links to the mob, a group of racist police officers who hate minorities, the assassin’s older brother, her twin sister who lives unhappily in the shadow of her famous sibling and Jock Kerr, her husband who struggles with marital infidelity.

Homicide detective Michael Gallagher is assigned to the case and is soon under heavy gunfire as people begin to die all around him. As he confronts each potential conspirator he finally reaches the truth about what really happened to the popular governor in a shocking conclusion.
