It was just another boring day.
I don’t think it was a holiday.
I know it wasn’t my birthday.
So what was today?

What starts off in the book as a boring day for Alex changes when a box arrives with a surprise inside.

Alex is given the responsibility to come up with a name for his new best friend. It is a task that was harder than Alex thought it would be.

But in the end, after some twists and turns, Alex comes up with the perfect name for his new pup.

With Alex who’s an enthusiastic boy who’s bald, a cute puppy who’s nameless and parents who laugh a lot & dress funny, this friendly family faces what most kids and adults have faced, what do you name your new pet!
“Alex’s SURPRISE” is filled with 26 colorful and engaging illustrations which compliments this fun story that has many teachable moments.

The large 8″X10″ printed version includes some additional interactive activity pages at the end

• Find the missed mistakes in the drawings

Thank You for having my book on your site. In my book you will notice my connection to Boston, I was born and lived there for 50 years.. My prayers and thoughts go out to everyone affected by the bombings on Monday. Rich Hill

My pleasure Richard. I agree, it’s difficult to comprehend how anyone could perpetrate such evil. Very sad.
