Idaho: A (dark) love story

Owen Reed is living the dream as an artist in trendy Portland, Oregon, home to bearded hipsters, fine coffee and mystic paintings. Trouble is, he never sells any work. Instead Owen makes his way through life scamming little old ladies and shoplifting aspirin. When his old college buddy Langdon Salter shows up from L.A. with his gorgeous young wife in tow, Owen seizes the opportunity to steal both money and romance through a breathtaking murder that has unexpected consequences.

This fast-moving contemporary noir novella is a first offering from Oregon writer and photographer Bob Keefer, who covered the arts world for years as an award-winning newspaper writer before starting his own arts blog.
