Lesser Aspects

Being critically wounded in a mass shooting is one of the worst things imaginable. Surviving the nightmare is nearly as difficult.

Darcy Vincent, Jimmy Charlton, and Robbie Peterson bear the burden of unbelievable pain, loss and perpetual mental anguish while they desperately try to recover from their critical injuries.

Just when it appears they are reassembling their wrecked lives comes news that the building where the horrific incident occurred is to be reopened. The past comes crashing back in more ways than one, nearly driving them over the edge for good.

Who makes it, who doesn’t, and who has their own agendas of personal gain and havoc all plays out as one thing is for sure: shooting victims are never the lesser aspects in gun violence.
