He catches sight of himself in the hallway mirror by accident. With a Grinch mask over his head, a t-shirt with a smiley face on it and a baseball bat in his hand, he can’t help but smile himself. His raucous neighbor has been successfully silenced, probably still unconscious under the door Ralph broke through just minutes ago. Now that there’s peace, he can have himself a drink.

Ralph has made sure there are only two sides to his life. At work, he sneaks around in the darkest depths of iniquity, confident and with light feet. In his spare time, the couch gets most of his affection. Since it’s the only way to keep him from messing anything up, he shuts himself away. But his feet get heavy quick, and he treads through thick mud time and again, unable to keep the mud from spilling out of his mind.
