Monstra Inter

One day, humanity is hurled into chaos as zombies appear throughout the world. These new monsters will chase for miles; they’ll stalk and hide in ambush; they don’t eat or drink; their singular goal is to spread the infection to everyone–and everything–in their path. The few people who make it through the initial wave struggle to survive in this horrifying new reality. Will anyone learn to live in this new world? Or will this be the end of humankind?
———————————————————————————–
The story follows several different characters in their fight for survival as these cunning and quick new monsters take over the world. Abigail tries to find her family. Nathaniel seeks shelter. Charlie stands her ground and refuses to leave her farm. Evie and Eric face challenges they’d never dreamed of. Brad and his father head west, as far from civilization as they can get. Paths cross and intertwine.
Who will make it out alive? Who won’t? And who will end up as the monsters in between?

Meet C. Britt

C. Britt lives in the midwestern United States with her husband, cat, and two dogs. She enjoys spending time sewing, photographing nature, playing video games, and (of course) dreaming up fictional worlds to write about. She’s always been an avid reader, but in recent years, she’s grown more and more excited about creating her own stories. She’s written hundreds of short stories over the last few years and shared them on Reddit. (A few of which have received recognition on the Writing Prompts subreddit with their annual “Best of” writing competitions). Nowadays, she’s branching out and releasing her debut novel, Monstra Inter.

The Hungry Deep

Some places are abandoned for a reason. When newlywed Rachel Corrigan agrees to accompany her husband, Tom, to his family estate before starting their lives together in the city, it is an opportunity to get to know him and to explore the manor where he grew up. But when Rachel arrives she finds Corrigan House strange, the nearby town empty, and her husband’s sudden cold demeanor increasingly frightening. She soon learns that one year ago, Tom’s first wife, Lavinia, took her own life in the twisted forest behind Corrigan House. The servants claim that her spirit resides there still, calling out from the wood, her voice as clear as the day she died. In an abandoned town where everyone harbors a secret, Rachel finds herself a prisoner in a place which is becoming increasingly treacherous. When the village priest is found savagely stabbed and on the edge of death, it becomes clear that the remaining townsfolk – witnesses to Lavinia’s demise – are being hunted down one by one. But Lavinia Corrigan is dead. Isn’t she?

Meet Cedrick E. Wilson

Cedrick was in love with writing before he even realized it. It started first with his love of film. With movies like Flash Gordon, Star Wars, Cooley High and The Warriors. Those films opened up his creativity. There were times when visiting his Grandmother or his great Aunts on their secluded farms in the state of Texas when his imagination was all he had.

As a teen, he moved to Florida and that’s where his creativity took off. In his first couple of days in a new school, he was approached by a classmate who asked did he know how to rap? He answered no, but the classmate replied by saying I’ll show you. Cedrick began to write raps which back in the eighties was more like stories and much different than it is today. He wrote the story and the classmate rearranged the words and organized them into rap lyrics and from there he just couldn’t put the pen down. After the classmate moved away, Cedrick kept on writing stories and turned them into rap lyrics even though he couldn’t rap to save his life.

After high school, he kept writing but a discovery in a magazine helped him go in a different direction. He came across an advertisement for writers, a store that sold books that taught you how to write screenplays. His love for movies and writing came together.

Life happened and he put away his pen to provide for his family but the stories swimming around in his head wouldn’t go away. Even though he was busy with work and taking care of his family, he made sure that he made time to write. He wrote a ton of scripts and entered a few screenwriting contests, but he realized to make it in Hollywood you’d more than likely would have to move there and would be a lot more difficult to get in the door. His wife kept telling him for years to write books instead but he didn’t think he was cut out to be an author in that capacity.

A life altering event plus the fact that he’s not getting any younger finally caused him to take the plunge.

He published his first book in January 2018 with more to come.
