As Lored attempts to investigate the truth of the charges brought against Rue, the herb woman, Tari tries to hide her insecurities and doubts behind a facade of serenity.

This is a fantastic read. The characters are all well drawn and the landscape through which the characters move is familiar and easily imaginable, yet quite magical as well.” W Thomas

Lored and Tari must keep the twins’ presence on the Isle of Kiros a secret, as the taku-kevir starts to question witnesses to events that happened over a year before.

But Lored’s investigations are hampered by the Kirridian fascination for horse-racing.

If Lored can’t free the herb woman from prison, he and Otta (who is in hiding) won’t be able to travel north to continue their pursuit of the kaerlings who have abducted Lally and Derri.

Meet The Archivist

My mom always said I was her costume child. She’s right, always has been, always will be -but don’t tell her I said that. Okay? So it only made sense to write as a storyteller within my universe. The Archivist. As the only Archivist left is my job to record the stories of those living within the Legends of the Fall universe (We’re rebuilding the order right now. We’ll post applications later.) Anyways, each story has its own hero or heroine, along with a supporting cast of characters. Soon enough, their stories will collide. But not now. They’re not ready. I’m not ready. Before I picked up the persona of the Archivist, I was always making up stories. I remember playing in the home repair stores or being on a construction job site and transforming them into space stations, rebel bases or the surface of an uncharted world. I filled them will stormtroopers and starships, dragons and knights. Over time stories, and writing, became a sort of Jungian therapy for me. It helped me process the chaotic emotions and conflicting circumstances I found myself in. It kept me alive. Kept me sane. Yet one day, I realized my characters, my invisible friends, and the places they lived were bound to me. Bound to my mortality. One day, I’d slip away, and I’d drag them into the afterlife with me. That terrified me. That’s when I knew I had to share my stories. It started with my wife. I opened up to her. Shared the world I had lived in since I was a teenager. Then I shared it with my children. I realized that those characters and places now lived within them. That in some small measure, they’d survive me. Now I’d like to invite you on this crazy adventure. It’s not for everyone and that’s okay. I hope that if these stories speak to you, if the words I write make you feel something, then you too will open yourself up and let these characters and places find a home within you as well. And maybe one day, under a bright sun, you’ll tell others your own stories. Cheers, The Archivist

The Awakening

It is written that once long ago, God became very angry with the inhabitants of this world. In his wrath, God sent a great flood to wash away the wicked people of this world. Or so the story tells us.

But is this what really happened?

Meet ryan sova

I have had a fascination with writing from a very young age. I never pursued this passion though until recent years. In March of 2015, I began work on my first novel, The Awakening.

After I had finished writing the first few chapters of this novel, I started sharing some of my work with family, friends, and colleagues from work. Not knowing what people would think of my work, I braced myself for the worst. To my surprise though, people actually loved what I had written. So I got serious about writing and now after almost four years of work, I have finally finished my first novel.

I am currently serving as a Technical Sergeant in the United States Air Force. I am happily married to a woman by the name of Ashleigh Easter-Sova and I have four children from a previous marriage. My wife and I are both active members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Fair Wind

Lored and his companions are on a rescue mission but first they have to endure a sea voyage. “I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It’s a beautifully written story and I find all of the characters interesting. The descriptions, particularly of the sea voyage, were fabulous. I can feel myself being present in the places described. There are lots of hints of problems to come and foreshadowing which all adds to a sense of mystery.” E Baxter Lored and Otta are struck down with seasickness. Tari finds herself nursing a man she fears and a woman she hates. And Erl has worries of his own… Can the companions conceal Otta’s kaerling heritage when they land on the Isle of Kiros? And, how will Lored find the herb woman who has the remedy he and Otta will need when they set sail again in pursuit of the kaerlings? Thwarted at every turn, Lored finds himself agreeing to help the Kirridians without even knowing what needs to be done. Everything seems to be against the companions; how will they overcome the obstacles in their path? Meet Aiden L Turner

My name is Aiden, and I am the author of ‘Banner of the Broken Orc.’ A Dark Epic Fantasy Adventure, set in a world of medieval age technology, Orcs, Elves, Ogres, Goblins and a whole bunch of evil monsters. I grew up on a council estate in Birmingham and never really settled into the school environment. I misbehaved, skipped class, and just generally found trouble wherever I could. At fifteen I left school before sitting any exams and started working in whichever job I could find. I worked in construction, warehouses and factories. I fell in with the wrong crowds and left home at the same age I left school. I always enjoyed reading, but when I was handed a copy of The Magician by Raymond E Feist, I was instantly hooked on how fantasy novels can capture and immerse the reader in a completely fictitious world. At around the age of twenty I started working on a steadier basis, mainly on the production line of automotive plants. I was bored. I mean mind-numbing tedium all day every day. I developed ideas, characters and worlds of my own, mainly to help pass the time. I moved to the Netherlands in 2017 where I met my wife. With her support and encouragement, I finally finished my first novel and published on 08-11-2020. I still live in the Netherlands and I still work on the production line of a factory where I spend my time thinking of my next book and submersing myself in the characters.

Now, the fate of both human and demon alike rests with a killer that walks between worlds, and a woman with a curse in her bloodline. What readers are saying: “Shadow-Stained is a unique take on the traditional paranormal romance!” “I highly recommend Shadow-Stained to anyone looking for a dark, exciting plot and characters that are flawed, yet beg to be rooted for all the same. 5/5 stars!” “This is a dark book. It’s pretty twisted and f*cked up in places, so if you’re looking for a fluffy, cutesy romance story this isn’t it.” “The author manages to weave a tale of intrigue and romance that has you rooting for the characters, while at the same time you want to bash a certain demon lord in the face. I’m looking at you Drayvex.” “The twists and turns will keep you engulfed and entertained. I highly recommend this for any fan of demon based fantasy
