You need more than money to pay off your debts. You need…lessons? Money problems are the norm for Georgia Alfonso. She’s hit a new low after her unfaithful fiancé racked up her credit cards, dumped her, and left the country. With the help of Charlie, a successful (and sexy!) investor, Georgia explores wacky, unconventional ways to make extra money to pay off the debt. As she becomes more financially savvy and gains the confidence to date again, she unexpectedly finds herself caught in the middle of a money feud between the Bakers—a dangerous family—and her mother, who’s taken off without a word. Her real problems start with a threat. Then her cat disappears. While still trying to keep up with her debt payments, Georgia’s search for her mother sends her down a trail of shocking secrets surrounding her broken family’s past. As she gets closer to the truth behind her mother’s relationship to the Bakers, they become increasingly hostile. Charlie’s getting skittish at all this drama, and Georgia fears her family problems will ruin her shot at true love. Can Georgia find her mother soon—before the Bakers follow through with their promises to harm her and her loved ones…and ruin her whole life? Lessons for Broke Georgia is a hilarious, raunchy tale that boldly confronts the uncomfortable topic of personal debt and explores how our issues on love, family, and self-worth can determine whether we financially thrive—or flounder.

It’s been said that love sneaks up on you when it’s least expected. Whoever came up with that phrase was spot on in my case. After being stood up by a blind date, I accidentally met the man of my dreams. The only issue? He’s a former male escort… an ex-gigolo… a retired prostitute… a… well… you get the picture. Complicating matters is my socially awkward best friend and partner in crime, my overprotective obnoxious brother who does not approve of my budding relationship, and a few other major players that do their part to stir the pot. With the deck stacked against us, what’s it going to take to find my happily ever after? This story is a full length 97,000 word comedy romance intended to make you swoon, crack a smile, and dive right into the lives of my fictional characters.
Meet Grace Risata
I would first and foremost like to thank everyone for taking the time to give my stories a chance. My goal is to take you out of your world, and all the stresses that go along with everyday life, and bring you into my world of romance and humor. I have a special weakness for hot alpha males and the feisty heroines who love them. Above all else, I hope you got a laugh out of my book. I aim to incorporate as much comedy into my romance as is humanly possible. My professional biography is as follows (I’m not sure why it’s in the third person, evidently that’s the rule): Grace is happiest when reading, eating Portillos hot dogs, and patiently waiting for the inevitable zombie apocalypse.
