The Reluctant Gigolo

It’s been said that love sneaks up on you when it’s least expected. Whoever came up with that phrase was spot on in my case. After being stood up by a blind date, I accidentally met the man of my dreams. The only issue? He’s a former male escort… an ex-gigolo… a retired prostitute… a… well… you get the picture. Complicating matters is my socially awkward best friend and partner in crime, my overprotective obnoxious brother who does not approve of my budding relationship, and a few other major players that do their part to stir the pot. With the deck stacked against us, what’s it going to take to find my happily ever after? This story is a full length 97,000 word comedy romance intended to make you swoon, crack a smile, and dive right into the lives of my fictional characters.

Meet Grace Risata

I would first and foremost like to thank everyone for taking the time to give my stories a chance. My goal is to take you out of your world, and all the stresses that go along with everyday life, and bring you into my world of romance and humor. I have a special weakness for hot alpha males and the feisty heroines who love them. Above all else, I hope you got a laugh out of my book. I aim to incorporate as much comedy into my romance as is humanly possible. My professional biography is as follows (I’m not sure why it’s in the third person, evidently that’s the rule): Grace is happiest when reading, eating Portillos hot dogs, and patiently waiting for the inevitable zombie apocalypse.

Second Chances

Is life giving me lemons, or lemonade? Just when Chloe’s life should feel like it’s falling apart post-divorce, things begin to take off in unexpected ways. She had been feeling undesirable and suddenly she’s insatiable to men; for the first time in her life she was completely financially stable after many years of worrying about money. Chloe doesn’t even have to worry about blaring alarm clocks anymore. But when there is no drama, we create some amiright? That’s exactly what Chloe is doing when an eligible lawyer starts pursuing her. Will Chloe be with her new beau? Or will she cut the strings and fly solo, happy with her new found freedom and the joy of never having to work again? Second Chances is the first in the Besties series that follows the love lives of four very different but very cool best friends. All books have no cheating, a guaranteed happily ever after and can be read as standalone novellas with no cliffhangers.

Meet Ava Paris

Ava Paris is a native to Melbourne, Australia where she sets many of her romance novels and novellas. While not writing she enjoys music, dancing, and contemplating how stuff works.

Falling for the Villain

Being a superhero is hard enough…Don’t fall for your arch nemesis. College junior Aubree Klein stays busy with a full course load, work, and protecting River City from villains as flame-wielding superhero Blue Nova. The last thing she needs is more time with her arch enemy, the evil super genius Dr. Vile. Using his malicious inventions to inflict destruction on the city, Dr. Vile knows just how to get under Aubree’s skin. But when a new and even more powerful villain threatens the city, there’s only one person she can turn to for help. As the temporary allies get closer, they find that identities aren’t the only secrets being kept, and their mutual hatred may have been masking something else all along. With the fate of the city hanging in the balance, will the tense partnership last? And will Aubree find a way to combat her conflicting feelings for the one person she swore to despise?

Meet Kim Elliott

Kim Elliott lives in Langley, British Columbia with her husband, two busy kids, and a sleepy dog named Marley. When she isn’t writing stories, she enjoys watching singing competitions on TV, eating donuts, and going shopping for jeans. (That last one was a blatant lie.) Kim is addicted to that butterfly feeling when two characters who are perfect for each other finally realize it. She has a particular soft spot for tough guys who are secretly cinnamon rolls on the inside. If you crave that tingle of excitement you get when reading about two people on the verge of falling in love, her books might be for you!

The Promise

Our hope is in Him. Each life is precious, uniquely created by God. He has a plan for our lives, yet even when we make the wrong decisions, God is still the master planner. “The Promise” chronicles the story of a couple, each who will make choices that will drastically change the course of life. A promise is given. Wrapped around the horror of death, the story evolves from the prestige of an enticing career to the remote jungles of the world. Life moves on in spite of the poor decision we make, yet the characters find that even when lost, there is hope. The story unfolds to reveal God reigns as the supreme creator and designer. Even so, it seems the promise must now be impossible. But is it??

Meet Anne Jean Michele

I received my master’s degree in Management of Computer Information Systems from California State University, Sacramento and live in Sequim WA with family. Why did I write “The Promise”? When our children were small, our house was the gathering place for neighboring children to play. When the girls were in their teens, our house was a safe place for their friends who for some reason needed a place to stay. Although our daughters did not experience the events in this book, I knew or heard about so many who did, and the emotions were heartbreaking. I often thought ‘why doesn’t someone write a story that helps to open the eyes of young adults struggling with life decisions, something that shows God’s love, free of human condemnation… a story that could apply to anyone, young or old, regardless of the mistakes made in life. I never expected that someone to be me, however I could not get the thoughts out of my mind until I finally gave in and began to write. Could this have been God’s gentle push? I think so, and was able to finally release all those years of compassion and heartache into this book. My hope in writing this book is to give readers pause to think, really think, about God’s master plan. Every person is important; YOU are important to God. No mistake is beyond the reach of God’s love and grace. Open your eyes to trust in God…there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and that light is Christ. How an ALL-Natural Cancer Treatment Took the Author from “90 Days to Live” to Full Remission

2019 National Indie Excellence Award Winner
2019 Independent Press Award – Distinguished Favorite

An inspiring and unforgettable memoir of a young couple’s push for survival in the face of insurmountable odds.

When an out-of-the-blue cancer diagnosis quickly turned into a 90-days-to-live death sentence from his doctor, Rodney Stamps and his wife Paige defied the medical establishment, and drew their line in the sand.

With both a growing family and business–and given that their doctors promised only to briefly extend his life with chemotherapy–the Stamps gave a resounding “No” to chemo and radiation.

90 Days to Live recounts the Stamps’ incredible and inspirational journey to find an alternative answer to cancer. In the end…

They’d beaten cancer while building a million-dollar business.
Following his ALL-natural protocol religiously, Rodney’s cancer went into full remission. On top of that triumph, he took his fire-and-safety business–which had just begun to take off when he’d received his cancer diagnosis–into a million-dollar enterprise.

An ALL-Natural Treatment Focus
Unlike other books by cancer survivors claiming to cure their own cancer “naturally,” but in actuality, relying heavily on modern medicine (surgery/drugs), 90 Days to Live outlines a 100% alternative medical treatment (i.e., using absolutely no allopathic–a.k.a. conventional–medicine)–a treatment that’s delivered incredible results to Rodney and countless others.

Alternately heart-wrenching and heartwarming–and delivered in an engaging dual-author format–90 Days to Live will speak to anyone struggling with an “incurable” disease, building a business under trying circumstances, or anyone who just loves a good old-fashioned, “beating-the-odds” story.

Serenade

cover

Teenage heiress Kaya experiences her first taste of freedom when she’s kidnapped from her sheltered life. But as she forms an unlikely connection with her abductor, Luke, her adventure takes a strange turn. Now, as her father’s men and her devoted bodyguard scour the woods to find her, she wonders if staying in the arms of her abductor is the safer place to be. At least, that’s what her heart is saying—her head is saying run

There is nothing magical about growing up in a mountainside castle, when it’s your prison. Kaya’s ruthless and powerful father keeps her under lock and key, watched every second of the day–and Kaya’s not really sure why. She’s just a normal girl…no one special. She doesn’t understand her father’s obsession with her safety – until she is kidnapped.

Dragged through a brutal wilderness, Kaya’s captor shows her the devastating truth, and even though he has dark secrets of his own, she is inexplicably drawn to him–when the stars are in your eyes, sometimes the line between right and wrong gets blurred. Passion obliterates common sense. Love… makes you reckless.

Dangerously passionate and darkly romantic, SERENADE is a page-turning thriller and seductive love story.
