Meet Rich O’Toole

I wrote this series for my love of LITRPG’s, but I often find that many LITRPG’s simply can’t convince me to care enough about the world or the characters. I think this is because the genre is a bit too strict to the gaming structure, and the world just doesn’t seem real enough. I have found a few books that do a better job at this than others, but what I really wanted, was a legitimate fantasy story with slight hints toward gaming mechanics. I think that the gaming world can offer a lot in terms of new takes on magic and the fantasy genre at large, and I hope that I can convince others of this as well. May you enjoy this series as much as I have during the creation of it.

Black Wren

Altered in the womb by a mystical creature’s jealous rage. Sentenced at birth to spend all the days of her life as a slave to a sadistic commander. She sails aboard the most warring ship in Essolia. She is of no kingdom, of no parents, and of no proper name. Black Wren becomes a firsthand witness to the cruelty of the world. She will be the central pawn of Mother, the uncompromising god of Essolia. “The ending will leave your jaw on the floor and dying for the next book to be released. The deeper you delve into the story, the more the author descends into blending dark-fantasy with philosophy, ideology, existence, and the nature of good versus evil.

Meet David Huffman

David E. Huffman is an aspiring author. For the time being, he wishes to keep this page as if it were the quiet surface of the lake he lives by…tucked away in the hushed hills and hollows of West Virginia. Perhaps in the future, he will invite you to dive in to see what lies below.
